CLAIRE FOLEY, LMT
Since graduating in 2012, Claire’s goal is to prevent and relieve acute and chronic pain. Each session is customized to fit individual needs-helping to promote pain relief, mental relaxation, and energy flow. Claire’s massage techniques have been carefully molded over the years into what her client’s call the “The Claire Experience”. Her background working alongside different health professionals, such as: Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Yoga Therapists, Personal Trainers, and other Massage Therapists, has given her an understanding of how different aches and pains can manifest in the body- as well as multiple ways to approach them.
In her free time Claire enjoys weightlifting, the arts and outdoor activities with her family and dog!
what we offer
-
A goal-oriented massage session aimed at relieving acute or chronic pain. This is a custom session and will be adapted to individual needs (i.e. specific or full body focus, pressure adjustment etc.). The therapist and client will go through a detailed history to pinpoint the cause of discomfort.
-
A massage that targets the deeper muscular and fascial structures to create lasting pain relief. Usually, a firmer pressure is used.
-
Normally performed with the client in a side-lying position. This massage modality is customizable. Massage is great during every stage of pregnancy.
-
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.
-
Massage Cupping is a modern adaptation of the ancient art of cupping therapy. While massage performed by applying pressure, cupping instead uses negative pressure to pull, lift, open and expand the body’s soft tissues.
