Yes! People fall asleep all the time.
When clients fall asleep during a massage, it’s one of the highest compliments a massage therapist can receive. Sleep is a natural response to deep relaxation, signaling that the client feels completely at ease and comfortable. It reflects the therapist’s skill in creating a soothing, calming environment and applying techniques that allow the client to fully release tension. Falling asleep during a session also indicates that the therapist has successfully fostered a sense of trust, enabling the body and mind to fully relax and unwind. In essence, it’s a testament to the therapist’s expertise in facilitating genuine rest and rejuvenation.
